From stately Schönbrunn to the majestic Imperial Palace, Vienna can seem at first like an open-air memorial to the Hapsburg empire. But there's an artsy flair here that belies the monumental, a creative, even radical energy lurking just beneath the baroque. Combine history with an exciting GLBT culture and Vienna is the perfect choice for a European getaway.
Day 1
Arrive at your hotel, Arcotel Wimberger, strategically located at the inner Neubaugurtel, directly at the redecorated Urban-Loritz-Platz and a 5 minute walk from the Westbahnhof (bus shuttle to/from the airport). At check-in you will receive your vouchers for a Welcome Drink at Joe's Bar. An information kit including brochures about Vienna, Vienna Gay Guide and vouchers for tours with lots of ideas of what to do and how to do it will be delivered to you at the hotel. You will also receive a Vienna card – 72 hour pass for all public transportation, including reduced admissions to museums, concerts, theaters and sights and discounts in restaurants and shops, making you mobile in the city of Waltz. This evening, as with your other evenings, is free for you to wine, dine, explore and play.
Day 2
On any one of your days, during your visit, you can select to take the Grand City tour of Vienna in either the morning or afternoon (this option must be selected at time of booking). This regular coach tour will give you an overall impression of Vienna's most significant historical sights. Along the Ringsstrabe, you will see such magnificent buildings as the State Opera House, Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Natural History. In the new cultural district, you will view the Museumsquartier, the Hofburg, the Parliament, City Hall and the Burgtheater and highlighting a visit to Schonbrunn Palace. The tour will come to an end at the Vienne State Opera, after making your way past Belvedere Palace. A pick up service from your hotel is included. Once again, your evening is free to enjoy all the Vienna has to offer. Your information kit should be a source of guidance and inspiration for what's available. You are on your own in the evening to explore Vienna's rich nightlife.
Day 3
Included in your package is also the use of private guide for 3 hours… to explore, the city of course, using public transportation services. Your desired date and time should be confirmed upon making the booking. A short tram ride from your hotel is the Museumsquartier, Europe's largest museum complex, hosting several spectacular museums, among them the Ludwig collection (modern art) and the Leopold collection (art nouveau). Evening is on your own – how about a Vienna Schnitzel… or some tafelspitz for dinner ?
Day 4
If you have already toured with the private guide or taken the Grand City tour, some suggestions are: A stroll through the 1st district or along the Ring; a visit to the Donauinsel (island in the Danube); an exploration of the huge park at Schonbrunn or a short walk through the forested hills of the Wienerwald. Take time to savor your last day and night in Vienna.

Payments can be made by check or major credit card. A deposit must accompany the reservation form in order to register. The balance is due no later than 45 days prior to departure. Certain programs will require special deposits and will have cancellation penalties different to those listed below. In such cases, you will be advised.

Hotels:
Throughout each tour, accommodations are based on twin-bedded rooms with private facilities. The operator reserves the right to substitute hotels in the same or a superior category.
Meals:
Meals are provided as indicated on each itinerary (B) Breakfast, (L) Lunch, (D) Dinner. Lunches or Dinners, when included at hotels or restaurants are Table d'Hote (unless otherwise indicated) and limited to specific dining rooms when at hotels. Meals aboard cruises are provided according to cruise line standards.

The Travel Agent and/or Tour Operators, PrideWorld and its representatives abroad, act only as agent for various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodation and other services. PrideWorld does not own, manage, control, promote, run or operate any transportation or recreational vehicle, motel, hotel, restaurant, or any supplier of services. All exchange orders, coupons and tickets are offered subject to the General Information under which such services are offered or provided. PrideWorld and its representatives assume no liability in arranging transportation, hotel, and other accommodations and are not responsible for any personal injury, illness or property damage or other loss or expense of any nature whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of any actions of any person or supplier of services providing any of the services, programs or accommodations offered in connection with a tour. Further, by participating in an PrideWorld tour, you are bound by our rules and you participate in the activities of the tour at your own risk. PrideWorld assumes no responsibility at all and no liability at all for any death, injury, illness, quarantine, sickness, diseases, natural disaster, damage, loss, delay, accident, expense, defect or any other abnormality which may result from your participation in any activity during the tour. The aforesaid PrideWorld and/or their agents can accept no responsibility for losses or accidental expenses due, as well, to delays or changes in schedules or departures, hotel overboookings or defaults, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantines, riots or insurrections or criminal acts committed by third party, political disorders of any type, or other such similar causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger. Each exchange coupon, order and ticket is to be regarded as one contracted on or in behalf of the particular company or person named in it. The passenger contract in use by the airline or steamship company concernd, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract of air or steamship passage with the purchases of these tours and/or the Passsenger. The airline companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The right is reserved to withdraw any tour announced in this Program and to make such alterations to the itineraries as may be found desirable for the proper carrying out of the tours. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable at the Tour Operator's discretion to alter the arrangements or itineraries for the passenger's comfort or welfare for any reason whatsoever, such alterations may be made without penalty to the Operator. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the Passengers. The right is reserved to decline, to accept, or retain any person as a member of any group at any time. This program is issued on the sole responsibility of the Tour Operator. It is not issued on behalf of and does not commit any Airline whose services are used in the course of the tours.
It is agreed by and between the passenger(s) and PrideWorld that all disputes and matters whatever arising under, in connection with or incident to this agreement shall be litigated, if at all, in and before a court located in The City of New York, New York State, U.S.A., to the exclusion of the courts of any other city, state or country. The issuance and acceptance of tickets and/or other documents in connection with a tour is considered acceptance of the above terms.
SPECIAL NOTICE:
Delays, cancellations and overbookings may occur on air flights, cruises, and land reservations by the participating carriers and hotels. While PrideWorld will do everything possible to avoid these inconveniences, it cannot and will not assume responsibility for the respective carriers and hotels. Fares and surface/cruise arrangements are based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect at time of printing, April 2003. All rates are subject to change.
